Valentine’s Day Food for Thought 4 : Cheesy Chex® Mix

Here’s the 4th post forValentine’s Day Food for Thought. Whoever said that Valentine’s Day is all about chocolates? Today I am going to introduce a quick and easy snack recipe that is great for TV. So this Valentine’s if you are staying home with your love one, pop in a movie and settle in front of the TV with these Cheesy Chex Mix!

Cheesy Chex Mix

Cheesy Chex® Mix:

You need:
3 cups of Chex® cereal
2 cups bite-size pretzel
2 cups bite-size cheese crackers
3/4 cup grated parmesan
1/2 stick butter, melted
a pinch of garlic powder

Chex Mix

1) Pre-heat oven to 160 degree Celsius.
2) Mix the ingredients in a large bowl.
3) After mixing, spread on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
4) Place in serving bowl and munch away!

Variations:
Throw in crackers or any cereal you like. If you like, you may even add a packet of ranch dressing as suggested by Chex.com.
